Embracing Life's Precious Moments

Jen Miller-Morrow’s journey has been filled with obstacles and triumphs, heartache and deep relationships. Over the past 20 years, she’s risen to become one of Tulsa’s top real estate agents while coming to understand that life is both profoundly meaningful and fleeting. Her story echoes with a common theme: the preciousness of life. As Jen has learned, life's most valuable treasures are the relationships we build and the moments we cherish.

In 2020-2022, Jen lost her mother, her mother-in-law, and her beloved dog, Amos. Those losses put the impermanence of life in perspective, encouraging her to share her story and legacy.

“Life is short,” Jen says. “It’s cliche, but it’s true. What I want is for people to know that their stories matter to me.”

From Single Mom to Real Estate Star

Jen began her real estate career in 2003 when her children were just 3 and 4. She had previously worked as a leasing agent, and the real estate business had long called to her. So, in 2003, she turned toward real estate as a means to support her family.

“Real estate felt like home to me,” Jen reflects. “It was the next move.”

After a short stint with her first brokerage, Jen joined Keller Williams. There, she rose to become a top agent. After a decade with Keller Williams, Jen joined Chinowth & Cohen, where she’s been since. In 2018, she obtained her broker’s license.

“It was really hard to leave Keller Williams because I had so many people that were there for me. It was really emotional to leave, but I just kept feeling like God was telling me I had to go and there was something next for me. As it turned out, it’s been a great move,” Jen smiles. “I get so much more help. We have a marketing department. I have more support. At any time, I can call the owner or text, and I know they truly do care, that I'm not just a number. They are always there. I’m taken care of.”

Putting Relationships First

Jen closed 40.5 sides for $14.7 million as an individual agent in 2023. She represents several builders, one of whom she’s partnered with for 19 years. In addition to her new construction, vacant land, and residential business, she does commercial real estate, too.

“My builders and repeat clients are people that have coached my kids in basketball, football, and cheer, employed my kids in their first jobs, and more,” Jen offers. “My real estate family becomes my family, which means the most to me because I was adopted at birth. My clients have become like family to me. They become some of my closest friends.”

After 20 years in the business, Jen considers real estate more than a job or even a career; real estate is her life.

“This business — there is nothing like it. I meet so many wonderful people. God has put people in my life who have helped me get through the passing of my mom, mother-in-law, and my English bulldog, and I know I was put in these people's lives to bear witness, too,” Jen shares. “This business is hard and cutthroat, but it's also been so rewarding. I've met so many people who have stepped up for me.”

Living in Gratitude

Outside of real estate, you’ll find Jen spending time with her husband, Trevan, and their blended family of three children: Cailey (25), Kagen (24), and Kylee (23). She also enjoys attending the Tulsa Performing Arts Center (where she is a season ticket holder), attending OU football games, traveling for live music (mostly Dave Matthews Band), snowboarding, spending time at the beach, and, lest we forget, hanging out with her dog, Luna Bee. After losing her dear dog, Amos, in 2022, Jen adopted Luna Bee, another English bulldog.

“I’m a crazy English bulldog mom,” Jen laughs.

As Jen reflects on her journey, she is grateful for each step along the way. Although they weren’t all easy, they were all necessary on the path to today.

“I am so thankful to be a part of so many wonderful clients’ lives in the biggest investments [they make] for over 20 years. I try to live by integrity, my legacy, [and my] goals — doing the right thing, in my heels, when no one is watching.”

Fun Fact

Luna Bee is named after Jen’s mother and mother-in-law, who she lost three days apart in 2020. “My mom used to say, ‘I love you to the moon back,’ and my mother-in-law is Betty, so that’s the Bee.”
