Jennie Wolek’s real estate journey is a testament to perseverance, teamwork and a dedication to giving back.
With 23 years of experience, Wolek has built a thriving career, a successful team and a platform for community philanthropy — all while teaching the next generation of leaders.
REAL ESTATE JOURNEY
Wolek’s path in real estate began in Norman after earning her master’s degree in human relations from the University of Oklahoma. She quickly realized that a traditional desk job wasn’t her calling and transitioned into real estate, where she could engage directly with clients. Working at a small brokerage, she gained hands-on experience with the various aspects of the business.
After a few years, Wolek returned to her hometown of Tulsa to be closer to family, though starting over wasn’t easy. Rebuilding her client base and network took time, but her passion and determination paid off.
“I made my way back home to Tulsa and really had to start over with my real estate business. I had been away from Tulsa for 13 years, so when I returned, many of my high school friends had moved off to other places and weren't living here anymore,” Wolek said. “I knew that I needed a database, so I got to work on reconnecting with people through networking and also volunteering with the Junior League of Tulsa.”
She joined Keller Williams in 2007 and found the support, training, and accountability she needed to grow further. All while being a new mom.
The move solidified her career, allowing her to flourish in a highly competitive and changing market. By staying educated and consistent through one of the biggest market shifts in U.S. history, she continued to grow both personally and professionally.

FORMATION OF THE WOLEK GROUP
By 2012, Wolek had experienced considerable success as a solo agent but realized that growing a team was necessary to be able to serve her clients without sacrificing the quality of her service while also being present with her daughter and husband.
The Wolek Group was born, consisting of talented agents and administrative professionals who shared her values of delivering an amazing client experience while also having a heart for giving back to the Tulsa community.
Today, The Wolek Group boasts over 300 five-star reviews and helps more than 100 families annually with their real estate needs. Wolek attributes much of her team’s success to fostering a supportive, collaborative environment where each member is positioned to thrive.
Her focus on leadership and building strong systems has created a sustainable model that allows The Wolek Group to continuously grow while maintaining high standards of service.
“I played soccer as a younger person, so I know the benefit of being a team player and working together,” Wolek said. “When I got to the point of no longer being able to keep up with clients and tasks, it was a no-brainer for me to start building a team. Although it’s not always easy to lead others, I do find the most joy in my business when my team members are doing what they love and achieving their goals. The ultimate purpose of our team is to deliver an amazing client experience while also giving back to our community, and we do that through real estate and having fun.”

BUILDING, MAINTAINING A STRONG TEAM
Wolek’s team is built on longevity and mutual respect.
Some team members, like Paula Sanders and Brittany Whinery, have been with her for nearly a decade. She values the teamwork approach, believing that everyone plays an important role in helping the group reach its goals.
“Each role on a real estate team requires different abilities and talents,” Wolek said. “We’ve grown our team to offer support for our agents and ongoing marketing and events for our clients and community.  Because we are blessed to help so many families each year, we get to live our motto which is: ‘Help More, Give Back, Have Fun, Live Large.’ We do this by creating community through real estate.”
As the leader, Wolek now focuses on leading, teaching and providing the vision for the team’s continued growth.
Her passion lies in building systems and processes that empower her team to operate efficiently while providing the best client experience. She sees her role as not just a business owner but also as a teacher and mentor, sharing the secrets of success with her team.
“That's what a great team is about — making sure everybody's in the right seat on the bus and in the right role so that they can flourish and thrive,” Wolek said. “For me, I get to live my passion. I get to give back to my team and to my community, which is fun, and that's what you've got to have in this business because otherwise it can be quite challenging at times.”

COMMUNITY INVOLVEMENT AND PHILANTHROPY
Giving back is a core principle for Wolek and her team.
In 2013, she launched the “Keys to the City” initiative in response to devastating tornadoes in the Moore and Oklahoma City areas. Since then, every home sale or purchase, The Wolek Group donates $100 to local nonprofits. Over the years, this initiative has led to over $100,000 in donations to local organizations that clients are passionate about.
“$100 per closing doesn't seem like a lot, but when multiplied, it can really make a big impact on our Tulsa community,” Wolek said. “We really enjoy the giving piece, we love to be philanthropic and we love our city. That's definitely still a staple of our business plan. The cool thing is that everyone may not have a favorite nonprofit, per se, but they have something that they care about. So whether that's kids or animals, food insecurity or homelessness, you really get to deepen the relationship with your client when you talk about what matters to them.”
The group also hosts client and community events, in partnership with local nonprofits, to raise awareness and support for important causes. Each event has a defined purpose and encourages others to help contribute as well.
In addition to financial contributions, The Wolek Group uses social media platforms like Facebook and Instagram to share and promote local businesses and community happenings through “Tulsa Looks Good on You.” This initiative allows the group to shower Tulsa with even more love while engaging and educating the community.
“We interview local small businesses and nonprofits to help raise awareness and promote their message,” Wolek said. “It gives me so much energy when I get to learn about a new business in town or how our neighbors are hurting and how we as a community can give back. During the pandemic, I interviewed over 50 local businesses and charities on Zoom to get the word out about how we could help them. Being a small business owner myself, I know it’s not always easy to keep going in challenging times.”
Being a recent Leadership Tulsa graduate, Wolek learned even more about Tulsa’s history and toured many disadvantaged communities. This education only encouraged her and The Wolek Group to keep going on its mission of giving back by providing donations and promoting awareness.

EMPOWERING THE NEXT GENERATION
As a certified instructor for the KW Next Gen program, Wolek teaches a life and leadership class for young adults, helping them discover their purpose and mission. The full day training class is offered quarterly in Tulsa and is open to all 18-28 year olds.
Her goal is to empower the next generation to find their path, just as she found hers in real estate. Through these classes, The Wolek Group offers scholarships to attendees and provides mentorship opportunities to those seeking guidance.
“We provide a $500 scholarship opportunity for students who attend the class,” Wolek said. “Then the even cooler part is, through the national nonprofit, the students can apply for coaching, which is not real estate related, unless they are in or interested in real estate. Once they complete the three-month coaching, they can then apply for a $10,000 scholarship.”
Beyond local efforts, Wolek also teaches nationally through her program “Your Journey with Jennie,” which includes online training, events and a thriving Facebook group that features more than 7,000 agents from across the country.
This platform allows her to share her expertise with real estate agents of all production and experience levels, helping them navigate the complexities of the real estate business and lead fulfilling lives.
“I love to empower others to tap into their potential and discover their possibilities,” Wolek said. “I do this through teaching, modeling and giving them permission to live their best life now — there’s no reason to wait.”

LOOKING AHEAD
Wolek is committed to continuous learning and staying current with industry changes to best serve her clients.
She emphasizes the importance of working collaboratively with other agents in the Tulsa area to ensure that everyone benefits — clients, agents and the community alike.
“We strive to have great systems and communication with our clients and that also includes doing the same with our cooperative agent community,” Wolek said. “In Tulsa, we learn, mastermind and work together, and that's what's great about Real Producers — it doesn't matter what company you're with. What matters is that we're all being the best we can be and giving back to our clients and our community.”
As Wolek looks to the future, her focus remains on growing her team, giving back to the community and teaching others how to succeed in real estate and in life.
Her passion for helping others and her love for Tulsa continue to drive her forward, ensuring that her impact will be felt for years to come.
“As a real estate team here in Tulsa, we are always looking for great people to join us,” Wolek said. “It is important that this message is always shared because we have gone through a lot of change in the real estate industry, whether it's new regulations or the market shifting. Having experience and staying on top of the current details and data is really important for agents. With all of the uncertainty, we created ‘Agent Alliance’ this year. This is a way to connect quarterly with trainings and masterminds that are open to all local agents. It’s been a great way to stay connected as a real estate community.”
