Randy Wisdom landed his first full-time job in the hospitality industry at the age of 16. Within just a year, he rose up the ranks to become the general manager of the Holiday Inn and Suites in South Tulsa.

“I had a heart for people growing up and loved the customer interaction that the hospitality management industry had. There’s no other industry that will teach you customer service like the hospitality industry itself,” Randy reflects.

Randy’s father-in-law, Matthew Stockton, founded Superior Termite and Pest Control in 2001. In 2010, he gave Randy an opportunity to join him. At 18 years old, Randy accepted the opportunity to work alongside his father-in-law, marking the beginning of what has become a fruitful career.

“My dream was to own a family business one day, so I took up this offer, stepping away from a very rewarding career in the hospitality industry,” Randy says. “I immediately made a lot of relationships in a very short period, servicing homes and businesses throughout Oklahoma. Eleven years later, we have grown into a multimillion-dollar company with a very large staff. It’s the relationships that I’ve made over the last 11 years that have gotten me to where I am today. We wouldn’t be where we are today if it wasn’t for our awesome customers and employees and, most importantly, our savior in faith, Jesus Christ.”

In business and life, Randy thrives with community and friends. He’s grateful for the opportunity to meet new people daily and believes that has made him into the person he is today.

“The more people you know, the more knowledge you contain, and that’s what has made me the person I am today,” he says.

Randy and his wife, Kaylyn, have been married for 11 years and have two children, Ava (6) and RJ (6 months). As a family, they enjoy spending time outdoors, traveling in their RV and attending church on Sundays.

As we closed with Randy, we asked him what type of legacy he’d like to leave behind. His answer, unsurprisingly, was rooted in his values.
