Dan’s Story
Dan's path to becoming a trusted home inspector wasn't a straight line but, rather, a culmination of diverse experiences. He was raised in a military family and later joined the Army himself. This allowed him the opportunity to live in various parts of the world and develop a well-rounded perspective and honing his ability to connect with people from all walks of life. His background in the military and corporate world helped him develop an analytical mindset and keen attention to detail.
“I worked in the corporate world for twenty years — eleven with American Airlines and nine more with another company. At the twenty-year mark in that career, my kids had finished high school, and I still had a good part of my working career left. I wanted to do something different and fell across the idea of home inspection,” Dan explains. “After searching for analytical-type jobs, it seemed like a good fit. Home inspections have me in different houses, meeting different people, in different parts of the city, and working in different weather. Even though procedurally I do the same thing, every day is different. I learn every single day.”

Getting Out
Dan and his wife, Margaret, enjoy taking their RV on road trips. They typically go for a long weekend once a month and take an extended trip once a year. “I’m grateful the company is successful enough to where we can be away, and we still thrive.”
